We are getting tired of waiting.
Another funny thing. Here's the pumpkins we planted on purpose and have carefully nurtured. There are two pumpkin plants next to each other:

And here is one pumpkin plant that came from a seed in our compost. It sprang up by accident in our garden box and we didn't even water it for its first month:

In case you can't tell from the picture, the accidental pumpkin plant is bigger than our whole intentional pumpkin patch.
But here's the thing that grows best in our yard: weeds that like to stick in my socks.
